We Don’t Care What You Ride Just Ride

Gone But Not Forgoten

Doyle Graham

He was a good friend to us all and a dedicated rider.

Jan Cooper

Dick and I met James and Jan one weekend sitting outside the ice cream shop at Medicine Park. They too were out on a bike ride. After visiting a while, we invited them to come over to a Texoma Cruisers meeting. They came, felt welcome, and found a group with whom they wanted to associate.
We didn’t get to keep Jan long. She was a woman of great faith--she talked about her active involvement in church the first time we met. Most who met her knew of her faith very quickly. I know she had to have had lots of ups and downs during her illness, but we never saw that.
They came to meetings when she felt able and she was always upbeat. The only time we talked at any length about her illness, she said she was going to be fine. Then matter of factly stated “I’ll either be here happy with James, or I’ll go live with Jesus and be happy.” That is a strong testament of faith.
We will miss Jan, and are sad we did not get to know her better. James you are always a member of our group. We want you to come anytime, call anytime and lean on us anytime.

Welcome
